Consultation Announcement

The East Carter County R-II School District will have a consultation between the LEA, private school
officials, and representatives of parents of parentally-placed private school children with disabilities, on
April 7 th , 2020 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. in the Special Services Office to discuss the process the school will
take to operate throughout the school year to ensure that parentally-placed children with disabilities
identified through the child find process can meaningfully participate in special education and related
services. For more information please contact the Special Services Director, Danielle Sullivan, at 573-
322-8319 opt. 8.

School Messenger Parent Preferences

In order to better serve our community, the school district disseminates information by telephone for school closings, and emergency notifications.

Our communication partner has created this video to allow our students, parents, and or legal guardians, to choose how they which to be communicated by telephone.

Pictures will be taken on Wednesday, September 7th. Picture retakes will be taken on Wednesday, October 19th.

The 2016-2017 school year is approaching fast! Classes resume August 18th. Please download the student supply list under the Parents link above for a detailed list of supplies that will be needed for your child.

Spring Break

With the warmer weather and spring on it's way, school will be closed for Spring Break Monday, March 21st through Friday, March 25th. Classes will resume Monday, March 28th.

School Closed

School is closed due to inclement weather conditions for Wednesday, February 24th.

No School

There will be no school on Tuesday, October 6th, and Wednesday, October 7th due to a water boil alert.

Jostens Senior Class Meeting

Josten will meet with seniors in the FEMA building on October 19th during first hour to present graduation products and return on October 26th to take orders.

Josten's High School Rings & Jackets

Jostens will be here on August 26th at 9:00 a.m. in the FEMA building to present high school rings and jackets and will return on September 1st, 1st hour to take orders.
